From the 1 July 2012, all business who are operating in the construction and building industry, need to report all payments made to the contractors for each year.
These payments need to recorded on ATO forms called Taxable Payments Annual Report.
The due date for lodgement of these forms for the year ended 30 June 2013 is 21 July 2013, however extension to 28 July 2013 if you lodge you Activity Statements quarterly.
